transpersonal and intergenerational healing

I believe each person's body holds a map for their own healing — one that requires deep listening,
in ways our fast-paced culture often overlooks.

I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with 18 years of experience across nonprofit, hospital, community, and school-based settings.

In private practice, I bring advanced, trauma-informed training in somatic approaches — including the Tamura Method — working with the body's felt sense, nervous system, and innate capacity for healing, within a mindfulness-based, integrative lens.

My work is holistic, drawing on transpersonal and intergenerational perspectives alongside somatic awareness — weaving together mind, body, and spirit with compassion and present-moment attention.

Healing happens not just through talking, but through reconnecting with the body's own wisdom — releasing old patterns, stress responses, and imprints that talk alone can't always reach. I create a safe space where you're authentically seen, and where your body is welcomed as part of the process.

Using a collaborative, body-informed approach, I support you in restoring hope, connection, and well-being — drawing on curiosity and self-compassion to hold the challenging parts of this work.

"Lani has been instrumental in my journey back to myself after trauma. She is kind, intuitive, compassionate, patient, nurturing, and encourages you to deeply listen to your body.

Sessions are a source of comfort, even when we are doing difficult work. Over the years, I've seen and felt significant growth, and I leave sessions feeling seen, cared for, and deeply embodied."
