MINDFUL LIFE THERAPY

What is Brainspotting?
Brainspotting is a powerful, focused treatment method that works by identifying, processing and releasing core neurophysiological sources of emotional/body pain, trauma, dissociation and a variety of other challenging symptoms. Biolateral sound is incorporated to create a calm and safe container for deep level work.
Brainspotting gives us a tool, within this clinical relationship, to neurobiologically locate, focus, process, and release experiences and symptoms that are typically out of reach of the conscious mind and its cognitive and language capacity. I use guided meditation and a somatic focused approach to help clear negative emotions that has been coded into the body.
Brainspotting works with the deep brain and the body through its direct access to the autonomic and limbic systems within the body’s central nervous system. Brainspotting is accordingly a physiological tool/treatment which can clear and resolve psychological, emotional, and physical symptoms.
Through Brainspotting and mindfulness based therapy, I can effectively treat issues ranging from distressed feelings (sadness, anxiety, fear) to complex trauma with measured pacing and gentleness. Past wounding often can manifest in negative thinking patterns, physical pain, and distressing feeling states. It is possible to support your mind and body towards self healing within a compassionate therapeutic relationship.
